OMG! So much has happened since I last posted.  It has been a nightmare week but, I think I truly see a light at the end of the tunnel. A quick rundown.

While my Eagle was in detox last Wednesday I went to his house to clean out the dead refrigerator (pewh).  Upon walking in the house I discovered the Psycho B**** had gone "shopping" in the house removing several items of furniture purchased during their marriage.  When I told Eagle he immediately tried to get released.  Thank Gods they listened to me and kept him for another night.

On Thursday, a mutual friend took him home while I was at work and then I had to drive over to his house with his checkbook etc.  I am certainly glad I did this since the PB went "shopping" in the house.  Then that night my brother and his wife arrived in town.

On Friday it was back to Eagles house and we convinced him to change the locks on the house.  It is a fortunate thing to have a locksmith in the family.  Also huge break through Eagle introduced me to the staff at his University when we were touring the campus... this is a major step!

Then Saturday it was again back to Eagles to begin packing PB's shit, changing the locks and dinner out with Eagle, my brother and his wife.

Sunday after taking bro to the airport I returned to Eagle's.  When I went to leave he asked if I would stay.  Fortunately, I had packed as a contigency and so I stayed.

Monday brought about PB saying "I just don't think I have it in me anymore" whatever the hell that means.  What Eagle interpretted was divorce was coming but, she still had not returned the check book and financial documentation and another night at Eagle's for me but, I drugged his dinner (Unisom) so he would sleep so I could.

And today I am calling for champagne.  HE FILED HE FILED HE FILED!  Yes, you read right in beautiful triplicate.  He met with an attorney and signed on the dotted line and she so screwed!  He has a tiger of an attorney and he is following advise... freezing joint accounts, tracking fraudulent accounts and signing on the dotted line.

Then tonight he just called me to tell me he missed me.  Not that he was pathetic and depressed but, just that he missed my presence.  God it has been soooo long since I have heard those words.  There is still a long road to go but, I have hope that with time and some good home cooking (he is down to 175 pounds and is 6'4") my Eagle will be okay.  We have plans for a paper chasing weekend.

Indeed it is good news. I know the road ahead will still be rough and painful but, at the same time someone great once said "all long journeys begin with one step".

Thank you so much for your support. It means the world to me.
