Well, it is business as usual for me. Busy days at work and busier nights at home. What is that word I need to learn? It begins with N and ends in O and has no letters between.
We hired a new manager for my floor and he seems like a nice enough fellow, my first worry is how he is going to handle being the manager of a predominantly female department. Anyway, my spy in the HR department informed me his birthday is tomorrow so... I organized a collection, bought a card, managed to get him 2 gift cards (one for a meal out and one for a popular coffee house... now I know why I seem to like him he shares my addiction) and I am baking a cake tonight. The poor guy is living in a hotel. He has not even had an opportunity to house hunt. Here is hoping his little birthday surprise will make him feel welcome, as he has relocated from another state.
