Baby Surgery Update

Little Kylee Rose had her heart surgery today.  Parents, family and friends found out some disturbing news after the fact, but she is doing much better and they say the surgery went very well.  What they did not know until after the surgery was that the Cardiologist had contacted the Heart Surgeon and told him the surgery HAD to be done this week.  She was admitted to the hospital on Thursday morning due to lowered oxygen stats and "wet" sounding lungs.  The doctors were anticipating a hole about 7 mm in diameter when they opened her up it was to discover the hole was actually between the size of a nickel and a quarter.  She is in ICU CCU and will remain there through the weekend.  Her grandma discribed her coloring to me as thus " before surgery she had Snape's coloring and now it is more like Hermione's" So, we can definitely say there is improvement.
