For those that are interested I thought I would supply the recipes used in my dinner this evening


Seafood Bisque

10 Sea scallops
1/2 lb sea bass
3/4 med shrimp
1 8 ounce lobster tail
3/4 pound crab legs
1 7 ounce can baby clams
1 7 ounce can oysters
4 TBSP butter
apx 1 cup chopped onion
apx 1 cup chopped celery
3 cloves garlic minced
1 15 ounce can petite diced tomatos
1 6 ounce can tomato paste
3 large potatoes, cubed
2 TBSP Old Bay Seasoning
1 tsp ground sea salt
1 TBSP basil
1/2 tsp cracked pepper
2 Bay Leaves
2 Cups Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Rouxe

Melt butter, saute onion, celery and garlic, lay scallops, bass, shrimp, and lobster tail on top add 1/2 cup water cover and steam to cook seafood. Remove fish add cubed potatoes, broth from canned fish and water to cover gently boil until mostly tender. add tomatoes, paste and seasonings simmer. Apx 30 minutes from dinner add fish which has been cut to bite size pieces heat through add cream bring to low boil and thicken with rouxe.


Next Best Thing to Robert Redford

1 Cup Flour
1 Cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 cup butter melted

Combine and press into greased 13 x 9 pan bake at 375 degrees F for apx 15-20 minutes until golden. Let cool.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 8 ounce container of Cool Whip

Beat Cream Cheese and sugar until smooth add cool whip and then spread on nut crust

1 large box instant chocolate pudding
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
3 cups cold milk

Combine and beat until smooth and thick. Spread over Cream cheese layer.

Top with 8 ounces of cool whip and shaved chocolate and chopped nuts.
