Well, now this is gratitude for you. My oldest brother's birthday was in July. I told him, on his birthday, I have a gift for you and will get it to the post office when I can. Probably the biggest mistake I could have made, but his mistakes were worse. When I did not get to the post office in the next week the nagging phone calls and emails started. I might add two things here one my birthday was in June (I had more aknowledgement from my flist than my own family) he did not even send a card or call and to nag me is a very bad thing. So, each time he would nag my trip to the post office would be delayed another week. Finally, he made it a whole week without pestering me. I might add in normal circumstances I hear from him only if I call him or email him. So, off to the post office and I mail his card with gift card enclosed....
Last night I received an email from him which said
FINALLY!!! I got that gift you got for me!
One thing could've helped, though - you could've written the amount on the card. That way, I wouldn't have to go to Target.com to find out.
Thanks anyway.
