Tomorrow my Eagle is coming over for dinner. I stopped at the store an bought supplies for dinner...if you have any doubt about how much I love him think about the fact that I am making Seafood Bisque in the Midwest. Friends this is not cheap as it contains: Lobster, Crab, Sea Bass, Clams, Oysters and Sea Scallops. It will be served with Crusty Homemade Sourdough Rolls with The Next Best Thing to Robert Redford for desert.
For those of you not familiar with the desert it is layered: a nut crust, then a cheesecake type layer, topped by a chocolate pudding layer and then topped with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
Getting to work was the challenge of my day. We started getting horrendous Thunder Storms about six in the morning when I left for work I had to travers 3 flooded streets and then walk across a sidewalk three inches deep in water. It is now muggy and humid. I finally gave in and turned on the air conditioning as I do not want it overly hot when I am cooking tomorrow.
