That is the sound you hear permeating my home. Dear Lady Karelia I think you missed some germs, when you said you were stealing them from all of our homes. It is either that or my charming beautiful Goddaughter left me a present from her visit in the form of her cold.
The poor little sweet was stuffed up and could not breath to eat so, off to the pharmacy we went a little Vick's Baby Rub and she was a happy camper and ate all her vitals. Then she settled down for a hours long nap. Of course the most comfortable place was my chest. Her mommy reports today that after a vapor bath and more Vicks the little one is clear of congestion with much profound thanks as she did not know what to do.
I didn't have the heart to tell her that it was probably the result of germ transferance (if there is such a thing) she will find out at work tomorrow and I know I will have to hear her profuse apologies, she is just that type. I had been lucky during this winter season so I guess it was my turn for a cold from h***. sniff sniff.
